About Tea Do
Teado Contemporary Tea House was the first Boba Tea Store that ever open in Philadelphia Chinatown in 2012 that specialized only in Bubble Tea and Japanese appetizer such as Rice Ball (Onigiri) and Takoyaki (breaded squid). Currently we served more bubble tea option, more food and more topping for all different customers' taste. We use only fresh milk and also offer almond milk if needed per customers' request. Great place to grab small bit and drink. Casual environment and great prices so anyone can afford bubble tea at a decent price.

Tea in the United States covers everything from a traditional Chinese or Japanese tea house to a Southern sweet-tea counter, and the fastest-growing segment is bubble tea: Taiwanese-style milk teas and fruit teas with tapioca pearls, sold by chains and independents alike with adjustable sugar and ice levels. Tea rooms serving afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches usually require a reservation, while boba shops, juice bars and smoothie shops are walk-in and quick. Kava and kombucha bars are a newer category, and loose-leaf tea stores sell blends, teaware and gifts, often with a tasting counter. Prices for a drink run similar to coffee-shop prices, with premium teas and cold-pressed juices at the high end.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ10:30 pm. Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Philadelphia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Friendly staff and environment but the mango passion fruit pop tea was one of my usual favorite usual drinks before and I don't know if the ingredients changed or not but it doesn't taste right like last time it was much better months ago. As for the others teas I still enjoy but the mango passion fruit pop was my least favorite recently.

Bathrooms never work. Haven't worked in years. It is illegal for an establishment that serves food to not have a working bathroom. There needs to be a solution, because it's been a huge issue for 5 years now. The floors are sticky and not mopped properly. Although they are a bit cleaner than they were before. The sanitizer was empty. No place to pee, wash hands and no sanitation. Totally unsanitary. The food is still good, same as always. But this shop needs a serious staff investment. Owners need to give it more love, and inspire the young staff to work harder. Having broken facilities is a huge nono and you lose respect in that by staff and customers alike. Please get good again. You used to be a lovely place.

I got the pumpkin spiced boba since it was a holiday special item. Actually pretty good! I have never seen pumpkin spiced boba before but I thought it was a unique combo. I got it with the lowest amount of sugar possible, which was 30%. That was still pretty sweet, so I wouldnβt get it with a higher amount. They have a lot of unique combos and flavors here.
